My birthday weekend

It has been a long weekend and I am so worn out I think I have gotten a little sick. It was a fun weekend though. I'll start out with Friday

FRIDAY:
I went to the temple which was amazing and a great start to my weekend. I love that it is so close here. After that Nathan took me to try a Jdawg. Finally. And surprisingly I liked it! Then we got frozen yogurt and headed back to the dorms to hang out. This did not happen though because we ended up going to Provo Beach Resort with friends spontaneously. That place is not what I expected but it was so fun. After being there the group decided on having a Bon Fire. Goodness that as unplanned! After finally getting everything and making the fire we probably hung around it for like 30 minutes before leaving. I got back and fell asleep around 230AM. That wouldn't be terrible if it wasn't for the fact that I had to be up at 6 the following morning to get ready for General Conference.
SATURDAY:
I went up to Salt Lake on Saturday with Nathan to go be in the stand-by line for General Conference. We tried for both sessions but didn't get in. I thought it would upset me but it turns out I really liked watching conference in the Tabernacle. Maybe it wasn't as comfy as I would have been in the Conference Center or in my bed but I did enjoy it a lot. Afterwards Nathan took me out on a really nice date at The Roof for my birthday. Its one of the restaurants at the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building (or something like that?) in Temple Square. It was such a nice dinner. The food was seriously amazing and the dessert was like the best thing ever. We finally got back to Provo that night and it was pretty late. We ended up just hanging out and then at midnight Nathan gave me his present and it was amazing and so sweet.
SUNDAY:
My birthday! YAY! I am now 19 years old. Fun fun fun. I had to wake up early to get ready and go have an interview with my Stake President for my mission. As of about 830 I submitted my papers to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That was probably the best birthday present I could give myself. I am so excited to have it be real and be so close to serving. I'll know where I am going in the next few weeks. After my interview Nathan had his and he submitted his papers as well. I am so excited for him too! YAY MISSIONS. Anyways after the interviews it was almost time for General Conference to start. I just watched it off my computer with Nathan for the first session. After the first session I went over to Brittany's to watch the second one and to have dinner. She made speedies with rice and it was really good. I am happy that she is here and I was able to be with some family for my birthday even though I couldn't be with my mom and dad. For dessert she made these brownie things and then birthday cake cinnamon rolls. They were so good and I have a lot of left overs which makes me happy. Nathan came over to Brits for the evening too which I liked having him there. After we got back me and him just hung out with people. At midnight we decided to go to In and Out with all of them. I had In and Out for the first time- and I was a little disappointed  People talk it up so much I thought it would be better- but I guess it is still fast food. It was on the higher end of good fast food I will say.

So that was my weekend. I had a good birthday and a lot of fun. I am so excited that my mission papers are in and I can't wait to find out where I am serving. I'll make sure to blog when I find out! I am sorry I don't blog more but honestly like I am just busy or too tired. This weekend I think I got a total of like maybe 15 hours of sleep. It was a lot of fun but because of such little sleep I don't feel the greatest today. Oh well. School is almost over here- its the last full week of classes. Its crazy how this semester went so fast!
